If you operate or manage a fitness center--whether it is in a school, business office, or gym--treadmills are among the most common pieces of equipment that members will use. As with home treadmills, there are specific features that you should look for when purchasing a commercial treadmill--primarily the quality of the motor, deck, and control system. Commercial treadmills, however, need to be able to handle heavier usage than home treadmills, as people of different sizes will be using them all day long.
At Built in the USA, we carry a series of commercial treadmills as well as home treadmills and folding treadmills. Some of the treadmills are built to accommodate users who weigh up to 600 pounds, allowing users of any fitness level to use them.
Features of Our Commercial Treadmills
Our commercial treadmills offer different workout modes so that different users can select the workout that is most appropriate for them. They may want a mountain climbing workout that varies the steepness of the incline or a workout with interval training that alternates between periods of high speed at a low incline with slower speeds at a higher incline. The variety of options that our commercial treadmills afford users ensures that they will be satisfied with their workout and that it is more beneficial to them than running around a track.
Our commercial treadmills also provide users with a host of health and fitness information. In addition to heart rate monitors, our treadmills also provide an estimate of the number of calories burned (based on user input). Our commercial treadmills also feature shock-absorbing decks and emergency stop buttons to minimize the risks of incurring any injuries while using the treadmill.
